Villa da Schio Costozza

Villa da Schio Costozza

Villa da Schio a Costozza is a venetian Villa renowned for its historical caves, the so-called Covoli always having been used as cellars, and for its big perspective park featuring statues of Orazio Marinali, a famous sculpture who had his studio in this Villa.

Built on the initiative of noble Trento family in 1700, Villa da Schio is nowadays open to the public for visits, events and receptions.

Guided visits take place along the halls decorated with frescos and along the historical park, which is of particular botanical interest.
The visits finish in the cellars, situated still today in the ancient Covoli, with a tasting of the wine made from the Villa’s vineyards.

Moreover this ancient house offers a refined hospitality: in the spacious apartment situated on the noble floor of the building where the original furniture meets all the comforts of modernity.
