- Discover Vicenza, with its European Center of Goldsmithing Arts, various Palladian buildings including the Basilica Palladiana and Teatro Olimpico, and the Museum of the A. Palladio International Architecture Study Center.
- Head to Marostica with its ‘life-sized’ chess board, and other stunning walled towns, like Cittadella, the only city in Europe with a 15-meter-high Medieval ring wall atop which visitors can stroll, and Castelfranco, with Giorgione’s celebrated altarpiece.
- Taste traditional Vicentine dishes, like Baccalà, Sopressa, cheeses from the Asiago High Plain, grappa from Bassano, Marostica cherries and rice from Grumolo delle Abbadesse.
- Venture to the underground source of the Bacchiglione River and hike in the Natural Oasis of Villaverla, or visit the Sojo Contemporary Art Park.
